v;ctory 57

Hermina Hayk, MSc, is the initiator of the innovative project „v;ctory 57“ with multiple locations across Europe. Within this protected framework, highly traumatized individuals, including:

  • Soldiers of the UN peacekeeping forces (BLUE HELMETS) following a deployment in crisis areas
  • so-called system breaker children
  • vulnerable victims of human trafficking, such as forced prostitutes
  • and most recently, young people and children who have been victims of organized sexualized torture
can initially recover and find stability, in order to subsequently engage in the process of healing.
For these affected individuals, Hermina Hayk, MSc, has developed the psychosocial counseling method „v;ctory 57“.

The semicolon symbolizes that „one does not have to end life, it can go on“ and it refers to people who have suicidal thoughts.

57

The number 57 corresponds to the 57 „cuts“ a rough diamond receives to achieve a brilliant cut. There are also always 57 aspects/intervention steps (= 57 facets of a diamond) that are considered to bring out the inner shine of a highly traumatized person who has (almost) given up on themselves, to ultimately lead a fulfilled and self-determined life according to their own potential and to integrate into society.

Resort

The innovative project „v;ctory 57“ has several locations/resorts in Europe, where highly traumatized individuals can primarily recover and find stability, to then engage in the healing process.

The resorts are organized on the principle of Synergy, in the sense that all participants promote each other or have a resulting mutual benefit.
